Fabulous handmade Vintage 1930s -1940s Wrap Around Robe or Dressing Gown that is done in blue floral satin. It is beautiful and very flattering on a body and has a lovely ruffled accents around the neckline and sleeves. It ties at the waist and has a nicely flared skirt. It is in excellent condition structurally but has 3 very small yellowish rusty colored stains that are mostly on the inside - the largest one is on the inside of the garment under the arm but only a small spot goes through to the other side. The others are very slight but I didn't want to try to remove them and ruin the entire gown so I'll leave that up to the buyer. Normally I would try wink but I recently tried it on some vintage courduroy and it faded it. It was the first time it's ever happened, even on non white clothing so now I'm a bit scared to try it again. Perhaps Oxyclean will do the trick but I've never washed satin before.
Measures: Bust 38, Waist 25 and Length is 57 1/2". Buyer guaranteed to be thrilled with this in hand, pics don't show the actual beauty of this robe.
