Carved Celluloid Earrings
Spectacular Eartly Vintage Large Carved Celluloid Bakelite or Meerschaum Floral Bead Earrings. I used to own a lot of this stuff but never knew exactly what it was. I know there was something like this in Bakelite that I seem to recall but this could be dyed Meerschaum too. It is very intricately carved into a flower with V's rectangles and circles. Excellent condition except there is some wear on the earring part. This could be replaced easily as it looks as if it was glued on initially. It measures 7/8 inches and has a dome that is a bit over 3/8 inches high. Photographs don't do this set justice whatsoever.
