RARE Coro Pegasus Rhinestone Flower Pin Brooch with Sapphire and clear rhinestones. This piece is extremely heavy and very well made. It has 3 layers actually and is huge at almost 3 inches. The finish on this piece is like new and is probably rhodium plated then gold plated over that. I did not some stones that aren't as sparkly as they should be but I think the piece needs a good cleaning. There's a little bit of a white film on the back side that wipes off with alcohon and I think it may be on the stones too. Maybe someone tried to clean it before. The piece is gorgeous the way it is and personally, I'd leave it alone. It's very old and was worn so there is to be some imperfections expected. If you're adventurous you could replace the stones yourself or if Coro still offer the repairing jewelry service you could contact them. I know it used to be around $35. This is one of the most amazing Coro pieces I've ever had with the exception of a huge wide layered rhinestone cuff bracelet that was Coro Pegasus that I sold several years back.
